1. RBI constituted a Committee  on Urban Cooperative Banks chaired by  R Gandhi, the Dpeuty Governor of RBI.
2. UNCTAD released Global Investment Trends Monitor Report 2014:
   • In 2014, China was the largest recipient of FDI with an increase of 3 percent FDI with 128 billion US dollar.
   • FDI in India increased by 26 percent to an estimated 35 billion US dollar.
3. NTCA released report on Status of Tigers in India, 2014:
   • The latest report on Status of Tigers in India, 2014 showed 30 percent increase in tiger population to 2226 from 1706 in 2010.
4. New Jersey will host the International Hindi Conference in April 2015.
