  1. India successfully test-fires Agni-5 missile from Wheeler Island off Odisha Coast.
    • It  is a three stage solid propellant missile having strike range of over 5000 kilometer and capable of carrying nuclear warhead of over one tonne.
  2. Four Indian Coast Guard vessels commissioned at Mormugao Port of Vasco:
    • The launched vessels include two fast patrol vessels namely ICG Amogh and ICG Ameya and two interceptor boats Charlie 413 (C-413) and Charlie 414 (C-414).
  3. Indigenously-built Light Combat Aircraft Tejas handed over to IAF.
