The Suket Utsav (festival) 2019 was celebrated at Sundernagar, Mandi. The two day cultural festival focused upon promoting local folk and culture and giving young artists a chance to display their talent.

The center of attraction was a play “ Nar Singh Veer “ which displayed how the deities control the day to day lives of the local community. It was the fifth edition of the festival. The culture of Kullu, Mandi, Kangra and Chamba were showcased through their folk songs.

About SUKET FESTIVAL:

It is organised annually by the Mandavya Kala Manch and the Lalit Kala and Samajik Vikas Manch. The first edition of the festival came in 2015. It promotes folk dance, drama, fine art and various other folklores.
