Chief Electoral Officer Darvesh Kumar launched the electoral verification programme in Shimla. Under this, voters can verify electoral roll credentials between September 1 and October 15 on national voters service portal (NVSP), voter helpline app and Pwd App. The Chief Electoral Officer appealed to all voters to cooperate with booth – level officers for making this endeavour a success.

About the Electoral Verification Programme:

This programme would be operated at booth level by the booth level officer who will be visiting every house to upload voters’ information on booth level app. This would help in removing any discrepancies and duplication of entries in voter list.
