The Mukhyamantri Harit Vidyalaya Abhiyan will start from August 9 to 16. The programme will be organised by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education and the Forest Department. The students of various schools would plant saplings to take on the devastating effects of global warming and saving the earth.

ABOUT MUKHYAMANTRI HARIT VIDYALAYA ABHIYAN

The Forest Department would educate children about the importance of forest and environment besides providing them with the saplings. 10 saplings in each high and senior secondary school and 5 in every primary and middle school will be planted.
