The GB Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development Regional Centre at Mohal (Kullu) has launched the “Water Sanctuary Programme” in Chamba district.
The Water Sanctuary programme is an innovative programme to revive the springs in the Himalayan region through technology and people’s participation. It is to be noted that Chamba district has been identified as one of the aspirational districts by NITI Aayog,
