National Health Mission, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Himachal Pradesh is observing the World Senior Citizen’s Day on 21st August.
National Health Mission, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Himachal Pradesh will be collaborating with HelpAge India Himachal Chapter to establish three Day Care Centres for Senior Citizen. These daycare centres for Senior Citizen will be established at Shimla, Mandi and Dharamshala.
In these daycare centres, various activities like physiotherapy, library,(books, magazines and newspapers), recreation/pilgrimage tours, yoga, health checkup and awareness camps and other recreational services (TV, music, carom board, chess, ludo and cards etc) will be provided free of cost.
